Code & Submittal Specifications

Numeric & Alphanumeric Unit Numbers (§703.3)

Unit numbers such as 301A or 412B require the Braille numeric indicator followed by a Grade 1 letter indicator before suffixes A through J so tactile readers never confuse unit 301A with 3011.

Common-Area & Utility Door Schedules

Trash rooms, laundry rooms, fitness centers, package lockers, mechanical rooms, and stairwell doors must carry permanent tactile and Braille plaques mounted 48 to 60 inches AFF on the latch side.

Whole-Building Tier Pricing ($20 to $26/Sign)

Every unit sign and utility room sign combines into one building count: $26/sign at 25 to 49 doors, $23/sign at 50 to 99 doors, and $20/sign at 100+ doors.

Project & Ordering Questions

Can we upload an Excel or CSV export of 120 apartment numbers?

Yes. Export your door schedule from Excel or Procore as a CSV file and upload it directly into the builder on the homepage to generate proofs and exact pricing in seconds.

Are signs packed in floor-by-floor installation order?

Yes. Schedules are labeled by floor and room sequence so field installers can walk each corridor in order without sorting hundreds of mixed plaques.
